Ice Girls Auditions Set For August 24

SAN ANTONIO - The Rampage are searching the San Antonio area and surrounding community for talented, enthusiastic young women with a passion to perform for the 2013-14 Ice Girls squad. In addition to entertaining fans at the AT&T Center, the Ice Girls will represent the Rampage at public appearances and charity events throughout the year.

The auditions, which are a one-day event, will take place on Saturday, August 24 at Blast Fitness in San Antonio. Those interested in auditioning must have a passion for dance, the San Antonio community and sports.

The audition process will require the dancers to learn a routine and perform it in front of the judges with a round of cuts to follow. The second round will feature the dancers participating in an interview session to judge personality and public speaking skills.

"We are excited to select performers who have a passion to be role models within our community and represent the San Antonio Rampage," said Gretchen Luistro, Ice Girls team manager. "Our goal is to select entertainers who can make an impact at Rampage home games by showcasing dance and cheer skills and provide first class customer service as well."

Aspiring Ice Girls must be 18-years-old by September 1, 2013, and must be able to dedicate time to various Rampage events, including practices, weekend home games and community appearances. To register or for additional audition information, click here.
