ICE Get Point in OT Loss to Rebels

Red Deer, AB - The Kootenay ICE picked up a valuable point in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Red Deer Rebels at Enmax Centrium on Saturday night.
ICE '02-born forward Owen Pederson scored his first career WHL goal to open the scoring early in the opening frame. Both teams would trade blows, with the Rebels potting the game-winner on the power play in the extra session. In addition to Pederson's first period marker, the ICE also received goals from Connor McClennon (x2) and Jonathan Smart. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 35-of-40 shots that came his way.
