Ice Flyers to Hold Tip-A-Flyer at Nick's Boathouse on January 31

PENSACOLA, Fla.- The Pensacola Ice Flyers will host their annual Tip-a-Flyer event at Nick's Boathouse on Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Ice Flyers players will wait tables and all tips generated will go to benefit the USO of Northwest Florida. Nick's Boathouse will donate a matching amount to the USO as well.

"Our annual Tip-A-Flyer event is always a great night for our organization," said Ice Flyers owner Greg Harris. "We're grateful for our long-time corporate partner, Nick's Boathouse, who continues to provide a venue for our team and fans to get together to raise money for a great cause. We're looking forward to our continued partnership and to another fun night."

Nick's Boathouse will have Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. with $2.50 domestic bottles and drafts, $4 house wines and liquors, and half-priced apps. This special is usually only for patrons in the bar but for this night only, the special will be extended to the whole restaurant, still only 3 to 6 p.m.

"This is our favorite event of the year and the entire staff has gets pumped for it" says Charlie Slayton, General Manager for Nick's Boathouse. "It's one way we can give back to our community and thank members of our local military through the USO of Northwest Florida."

The USO of Northwest Florida's mission is to lift the spirits of U.S. Troops and their families wherever they may serve, through innovative, morale boosting programs and services, until everyone comes home.
