Ice Flyers Announce Fifth Anniversary Logo, Jersey, and Festivities

PENSACOLA, FL. (November 17, 2013) - T he Pensacola Ice Flyers, your 2013 SPHL President's Cup Champions, are celebrating their fifth year of existence during the 2013-14 season. The formal celebration of the anniversary is the weekend of January 17 and 18 when the Ice Flyers take on the Huntsville Havoc and the Mississippi Surge, respectively.
To celebrate the occasion, the Ice Flyers have partnered with Pen Air Federal Credit Union to sell every seat in the building for $5. Fans can purchase these specially priced tickets at all 15 local Pen Air branches. See listing below for all locations.
There will also be food, beverage and merchandise specials to fit the fifth anniversary theme, while season ticket holders will be receiving a one-of-a-kind fifth anniversary gift.
In addition to the celebration weekend, the Ice Flyers have a special fifth anniversary logo. The logo features the same F-18 jet that is in the Ice Flyers' primary logo as well as the primary word mark. Both marks are situated in front of a navy and grey Roman numeral V. The years 2009 and 2014 are situated on the V on either side of the jet to signify the years of existence for the Ice Flyers.
The fifth anniversary jerseys that the team will wear both nights features the fifth anniversary logo on the crest and the shoulders and five navy stripes across the sleeves to represent the five years of Ice Flyers hockey. The back and sleeves will feature metallic numbers. Following the game on the 18th, there will be a jersey auction in sections 102 and 103, sponsored by Painting with a Twist.
