The Colorado ICE (3-3) face the Fairbanks Grizzlies (3-3) this Saturday, May 9th at 7 p.m. (MTN time) at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO. The winner of this contest will solidify second place in the Pacific Division. The ICE and the Grizzlies previously met at the Budweiser Events Center on April 18th, 2009 with the ICE winning 61-30. The Grizzlies are coming off a hard 72-35 home loss to the Billings Outlaws. The ICE are also coming off of a tough loss after a controversial touchdown was scored by the Omaha Beef with 0.4 seconds remaining, giving a final score of 70-68. The heartbreaking loss snapped the ICE winning streak of three games. The Grizzlies feature a strong offense lead by WR Lonnie Sanders who currently leads the league in receiving yards (509) with 13 touchdowns. ICE DB Quentin Womack is currently amongst the league leaders in tackles, averaging more than 6 per contest.

Roster Updates ICE RB #4 Terry Washington suffered a knee injury in the ICE's previous game against the Omaha Beef on May 2nd and will not be playing against the Grizzlies this Saturday. DL #94 Jeff Spletzer has also suffered a knee injury and will not be playing.

ICE Game Program Profits Donated to Football Youth All Colorado ICE game programs will now be available for FREE at all ICE home games. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Colorado ICE Kids Camp Scholarship Fund. Funds will provide scholarships for underprivileged children to attend the Colorado ICE Kids Football camp, June 29th - July 1st. Each ICE game program is customized to the week's game and includes a "Featured Player" section, previous game photos, updated ICE and opponent roster information, today's game notes, and more!
