
ICE Defenceman Cale Fleury Added to 2017 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

Quebec City, QC - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that defenceman Cale Fleury of the Kootenay ICE has been added to the Team Cherry roster for the 2017 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game to be played on Monday, January 30 at Centre Videotron.
An 18-year-old from Calgary, AB, Fleury is playing in his third season with the ICE who chose him in the fourth round (78th) of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. Recently named captain of the ICE, Fleury is in the midst of his best offensive season with 30 points through 49 games including eight goals and 22 assists. He is listed 74th among North American skaters for the 2017 NHL Draft in NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings.
In 180 career WHL regular season contests, the 6-foot-1, 203-pound defenceman has 68 points (17G-51A) to his name.
Fleury replaces fellow WHL defenceman Jarret Tyszka of the Seattle Thunderbirds who is unable to compete due to injury.
