
Ice Conditions Force Referees to Suspend Loggerheads Game

LAKELAND, Fla. â Concern for the safety of the players caused tonight's Lakeland vs. Orlando game to be suspended at the 15:39 mark of the first period.
"Conditions were unsafe and dangerous," said Loggerheads President Rick Ladouceur. "We didn't want to risk a serious injury to anyone."
The game will be rescheduled and all fans holding tickets for tonight will be able to use them on the rescheduled date.

The Loggerheads will face off with the Miami Manatees, Orlando Seals, Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas and the Macon Trax in the WHA2's inaugural season. All games will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
