
Ice Bears' Sicard Scores Winner in OT

Knoxville, TN - (March 19, 2015) Dennis Sicard scored the tying and game winning goal to lift the Knoxville Ice Bears to a 4-3 win in front of a family four packed house of 2,845 over the Fayetteville FireAntz .
Fayetteville could not complete its climb out of a two-goal hole. Knoxville made it 2-0 on a goal by Ben Power at 1:31 in the first period. The FireAntz pulled to within 2-1 on a goal by Trever Hertz at 4:41 in the third period.
Sicard had two goals to lead the Ice Bears to victory - the game tying goal at 15:42 of the third period and the game winning goal at 2:47 of overtime.
Knoxville additionally got points from Matthew Paton, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for Knoxville came via Mark Corbett, Lou Educate, Sy Nutkevitch, Eric Satim, and Bryan Hince, who contributed one each.
Fayetteville also got points from Austin Daae, who also registered one goal and one assist and Josh McQuade, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Fayetteville received assists from Tim Recio, Matt Robertson, Corey Tamblyn, and Kristaps Nimanis, who each chipped in one.
Hince recorded 22 saves for the Ice Bears. Knoxville registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Kevin Murdock made 32 saves for Fayetteville on 36 shots. The FireAntz incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
