KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Bloomington Thunder battled to a scoreless draw for the first half of the contest but dropped a 5-0 decision to the Knoxville Ice Bears on Saturday night at Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
After a scoreless first period, the Ice Bears found the net first with 9:52 when Eric Satim batted a second rebound home on assists from Francis Drolet and Jon Higgins. The Ice Bears took a 2-0 lead with 6:48 remaining in the second when David Segal sent a pass to the top of the crease from behind the goal line in the right corner that went off Thunder goalie Breton Lindoff's stick and into the net.
