Ibrahim Kasule Called in to Ugandan National Team Ahead of International Friendly Matches against Mali and Zambia

HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls II midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has been named to the roster of the Ugandan National Team ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Mali and Zambia, on October 13th and 17th.

This will be the second call to the senior national team for Kasule, 19. The midfielder was most recently called in by his nation to participate in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Niger on September 7th.

Kasule just wrapped up his first season in MLS NEXT Pro, having been named to the league's "Best XI" for the 2023 season. The 19-year-old also claimed two "Player of the Month" awards in MLS NEXT Pro and made his MLS Debut with the first team on August 30th against New England Revolution.
