
Hurricanes Win Final Regular Season Game against Cape Breton Highlanders

The Hurricanes ended their 2017-18 on a high note, picking up their 28th win on the road against the Cape Breton Highlanders in Sydney on Saturday night.
The Hurricanes trailed for most of the first half but came back to win 94-90.
Mike Poole, who started the game for a resting Antoine Mason, led the Hurricanes with 17 points and nine rebounds.
Billy White put up 16 points and pulled down an impressive 17 rebounds in the win, while veteran point guard Cliff Clinkscales netted 15 points to go with his six assists.
Up next for the Hurricanes is the playoffs. Having secured the best record in the National Basketball League of Canada, the Hurricanes will have home court advantage all the way the finals.
In the first round, the Hurricanes will face either the Island Storm or the Saint John Riptide.
