The Halifax Hurricanes fell to the Moncton Magic 107-95 at the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday night.
The Hurricanes played the Magic close for three quarters the Magic's 13 three-pointers were too much for the Hurricanes to overcome and trailed Moncton through the fourth quarter.
It was Halifax's third game since Saturday and the team still has two games to play this week before they can rest for the playoffs starting in April.
Thursday night's Hurricanes' offence was led by Antoine Masonwho finished with 25 points and seven rebounds.
Forward Tyrone Watson had 20 points and six rebounds and Mike Poole had 17 points off the bench.
Moncton held Billy White to just 12 points, but the Hurricanes' star forward pulled down 15 rebounds in his 47 minutes of action.
Moncton guard Corey Allmond hit nine threes on his way to a game-high 34 points.
The Hurricanes final home game of the season will happen Thursday night March 29 against the Island Storm.
