Lightning Win Shootout in Kitchener

(Kitchener, ON) - The London Lightning won a high scoring affair in Kitchener on Tuesday night and are 1 win (or St. John's Edge loss) away from clinching the top spot in the Central Division. It was a back and forth game with the Lightning and Titans both shooting very well from the from the field and the free throw line. Garrett Williamson made the difference late getting some tough layups to go and getting to the free throw line to close the game out. 142-137 was the final.

Garrett Williamson led the way with 25 points and 9 Rebounds, Ryan Anderson scored 22 points, Mo Bolden and Julian Boyd added 20 points each, Marcus Capers finished with 16 points, Kirk Williams Jr. had 11 and Doug Herring Jr. chipped in 10.

The next London Lightning home game is Wednesday, March 28th at 7 P.M. against the Windsor Express. Tickets are available at www.lightningbasketball.ca or the Budweiser Gardens Box Office.
