Huntsville, Ala. - ‚ Huntsville City Football Club will play its sixth-straight road match to start the season when it visits reigning MLS NEXT Pro champion Columbus Crew 2 at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, May 5. Following the match, Huntsville City FC will have just one more road trip before the grand opening of Joe Davis Stadium on May 19. ‚ ‚

Season ticket memberships for Huntsville's inaugural season at Joe Davis Stadium, including the home opener on May 19, are available at www.mlsnextpro.com/huntsvillecityfc/tickets.

Earlier today, Huntsville City FC Head Coach Jack Collison previewed the match against Columbus Crew 2 with the media. Coach Collison discussed what the team worked on during its bye week, what challenges Columbus bring, what lessons the team has learned on its road trip, and the transfer of Danny Griffin to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC of the USL Championship. Huntsville City FC (0W-3L-2D, 2SOW, 4 pts.), currently in twelfth place in the Eastern Conference, fell in its last time out 4-3 to Inter Miami II on April 23. Huntsville City FC jumped out to a 2-0 lead and added a third goal in second half stoppage time, but the hosts were able to lock in the win.
