Inter Miami CF II Returns to DRV PNK Stadium to Host Atlanta United 2 this Sunday

Kicking off the month of May, Inter Miami CF II (2W-4L-0D, 6 points) returns back home this weekend as the team is set to host Atlanta United 2 (3W-2L-1D, 10 points) on Sunday, May 7 at DRV PNK Stadium. Kick off time for the third home match of the season is set at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Inter Miami II will come into this match after a hard fought battle against Columbus Crew 2 in which the team fell 3-2 at Historic Crew Stadium. This match featured goals from midfielder Lawson Sunderland and forward Cameron Johnson, both scoring their first goals of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.

Atlanta, on the other hand, will enter the match after securing a 1-0 home win against Philadelphia Union II.

Inter Miami II Signs Forward Cameron Johnson

Cameron Johnson, 19, was signed by the Club to an MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the road match in Columbus. The Costa Rican-American forward made his debut on the night, scoring a goal just minutes after coming onto the pitch for the first time.
