Huntsville acquires Miskiri

GREENVILLE, S.C., December 14 – The Huntsville Flight has acquired point guard Jason Miskiri from the NBA's National Basketball Development League available player pool and released point guard Ed Scott, according to an announcement by league director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Flight head coach Ralph Lewis.

Miskiri, who was in training camp and played three preseason games with the Utah Jazz prior to the start of this season, will be playing for his third NBDL team. The 6-2, 202, George Mason ('99) product played seven games for the Greenville Groove in 2001-02 and 41 games for the Charleston Lowgators last season.

In 48 career NBDL games Miskiri has averaged 20.3 minutes, 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists. Scott started all eight of Huntsville's games this season, averaging 25.1 minutes, 4.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

Miskiri is expected to be in uniform when the Flight travels to Fayetteville on Friday. He will wear jersey #11.
