Hudson to Headline New and Improved Hot Stove

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse SkyChiefs are pleased to announce that Toronto Blue Jays Gold Glove Second Baseman ORLANDO HUDSON will be the featured guest at the SkyChiefs 2006 Hot Stove Dinner which will be held at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool on Friday February 3, 2006.

The SkyChiefs have revamped the format of the Hot Stove which now will be a sit-down dinner with a cost of $35 for adults, $15 for children and $350 for a table of 10.Tickets will go on sale Monday December 5th at the SkyChiefs Executive Offices at Alliance Bank Stadium or by calling (315) 474-7833.

Joining HUDSON at the head table will be, Blue Jays Director of Player Development DICK SCOTT, new SkyChiefs Manager MIKE BASSO and former Chiefs Pitching Coach and four time Major League All-Star pitcher BILL MONBOQUETTE with more guests to be named in the near future.

In addition to the traditional awards handed out at the Hot Stove, the Tom Higgins Bullpen Chief Award and the Jake Meyers Great Guy Award the SkyChiefs will also be honoring local high school and college baseball and softball players. A silent auction will be held from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM featuring memorabilia and fan experiences with proceeds benefiting a local charity.

"We are really excited about the guests already lined up for this year's Hot Stove and are very close to adding a few more major names," said SkyChiefs Director/Team Historian RON GERSBACHER, this year's Hot Stove Chairman. "In addition to getting fans excited for the 2006 SkyChiefs season, this year's Hot Stove will be a celebration of baseball and softball in Central New York."
