
Houston Rockets Assign Isaiah Hartenstein to Vipers

EDINBURG, Texas - The Houston Rockets announced today that they have assigned center Isaiah Hartenstein to their NBA G League Affiliate team, Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Hartenstein (7-0, 249) was the 43rd overall pick by the Rockets in the 2017 NBA Draft. This season, Hartenstein has appeared in 21 games for the Rockets while shooting .485% from the floor. He started four games for the Rockets at NBA Summer League 2018, averaging 10.3 points, a team-high 8.0 rebounds, and 2.25 blocks in 21.9 minutes per game while shooting 52.2% from the floor.
Hartenstein spent last season playing for RGV. In 38 games with 11 starts for the Vipers, Hartenstein averaged 9.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.11 blocks in 18.7 minutes per game while shooting 57.1% from the floor.
