HOUSTON (Friday, May 16, 2014) - The Houston Dynamo face the LA Galaxy on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium in a match presented by 7UP. Tickets are available at www.HoustonDynamo.com, by calling 713-276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass Stadium box office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from noon through kickoff tomorrow.

Saturday's game will be broadcast live on CSN Houston Plus (7 p.m. CT pregame show) and Telemundo Houston (Spanish; 11 p.m. tape delay). The game can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and 850 AM (Spanish).

Saturday caps a season-long three-game home stand for the Dynamo. Houston is 1-1 through the first two games, including a 5-2 setback against Real Salt Lake on Sunday, with rookie forward Mark Sherrod scoring his first two professional goals.

Sherrod became the third-youngest Dynamo player to record a two-goal game. Only Will Bruin and Stuart Holden recorded two or more goals in a game at a younger age in franchise history (Note courtesy of the Elias Sports Bureau).

The Dynamo are 4-5-2 (14 points) and tied for third place in the Eastern Conference.

The Galaxy (2-2-3; 9 points) are tied for seventh place in the Western Conference following a 1-1 draw with the Portland Timbers on Sunday. Robbie Keane scored his team-best fifth goal of the season in stoppage time, but the Timbers evened the score three minutes later.

Last season, the Dynamo recorded their first road shutout against the Galaxy, a 1-0 triumph on May 5 marked by Andrew Driver's winning goal and Tally Hall stopping a penalty kick from Landon Donovan.

Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis is with the U.S. national team at the pre-World Cup camp in Palo Alto, Calif. and will be unavailable for Saturday's game.

Galaxy forward Landon Donovan and defender Omar Gonzalez are also with the U.S. national team and will be unavailable for Saturday's game.

Houston midfielder Boniek Garcia will be available for selection on Saturday. Garcia is set to join the Honduras national team early next week for its pre-World Cup camp in Miami.

Keane is the all-time leading scorer (62 goals) and cap holder (131 appearances) for the Ireland national team. The striker has been prolific for the Galaxy, registering 39 goals and 22 assists in 62 career regular season games since joining LA in 2011.

Following tomorrow's game, the Dynamo play three straight games away from home, beginning with a trip to Washington D.C. on Wednesday to face D.C. United.
