
Houston Dynamo FC Midfielder Memo Rodriguez Named to MLSSoccer.Com Team of the Week

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC midfielder Memo Rodriguez was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week after scoring and providing an assist in Houston's 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday.
The Dynamo opened Dynamo Charities Weekend with a victory and fans can bid on Rodriguez's custom-painted boots by visiting HoustonDynamoFC.com/Charities. Fans can also bid on boots from nearly two dozen Dynamo and Houston Dash players till June 3. Proceeds will benefit Dynamo Charities, which focuses its efforts around three main pillars: Youth Enrichment, Youth Soccer and Cancer Awareness and Research.
This is the second Team of the Week honor for Rodriguez this season. The Academy alum received the honor after the first week of the season where he scored in Houston's 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on April 16 at BBVA Stadium.
The Dynamo will return to Houston Sports Park tomorrow to continue preparations for Saturday's road trip to Children's Mercy Park to face Sporting Kansas City. Houston will train at Aveva Stadium tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. and the full training session is open to media.
Media may park and enter Aveva Stadium at the north gate and watch training from the east stand. Masks are required to enter Aveva Stadium and all media will be asked to adhere to the social distance guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
