
Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash Announce Calendar for Hispanic Heritage Month Festivities

Houston Dynamo Football Club announced its calendar for festivities to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
"We as a Club are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and continue to amplify Houston's rich diversity through programs and activations around the Bayou City," said Dionna Widder, the Club Chief Revenue Officer.
The Club will host seven events throughout the city beginning with Cascarita at HTX Sports Creek on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 5-7 p.m. CDT. The free pickup soccer event includes a first-come, first-served ticket allotment donated by FuboTV for the Houston Dynamo FC. vs. New England Revolution match this evening at PNC Stadium.
Festivities include a collaboration with Hustle Town Supporters for a tailgate featuring food trucks with Hispanic cuisine to watch the Houston Dynamo FC vs. LAFC match on Sunday, Sept. 18 at AVEVA Stadium following the Houston Dynamo 2 match against North Texas SC.
Fans are invited to join Dynamo and Houston Dash players at Futbol Fiesta on Sept. 20 at Parque Azteka beginning at 5:30 p.m. CDT. The Club will also host Futbol Fiesta at the Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA on Oct. 7 beginning at 5:30 p.m. CDT.
Free soccer lessons will be available through Futbolito in the City powered by Shell Energy for kids between 6-14 years old at Memorial Park on Sept. 29 beginning at 5 p.m. CDT. The program offers free lessons throughout the year once a week in 10-week blocks. Additional information and a full calendar of all Futbolito in the City lessons can be found here.
The Dynamo will close the regular season at home against Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and the LA Galaxy on Oct. 9. Fans are invited to cheer for the favorite group at the Mariachi Battle at the Hold It Down Plaza during pregame. The winner of the battle will perform at halftime. Additionally, the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Hector Herrera bobblehead, courtesy of Coushatta Casino Resort.
A limited-edition "Dale Dynamo" scarf package is available for the Oct. 9 game starting at $30 and fans can purchase the package here. Commemorative merchandise celebrating the Hispanic influence on our Club like the Dash "Mi Querido Naranja" t-shirt and "El Houston Dynamo Futbol Club" t-shirt will be available for purchase inside the adidas Team Store through Oct. 9.
The club will also participate in events hosted by local partners like the Festival de Fiestas Patrias on Sept. 17 at 6000 Chimney Rock. Players from both teams will join Rebuild Houston the week of Sept. 27. Additionally, the club will join the Puerto Rican and Cuban Festival at Midtown Park on Oct. 15.
