Houston Dynamo FC News Release
HOUSTON (Monday, May 11, 2015) - The Houston Dynamo today announced a partnership with ReplyBuy, a sports technology company that offers instant mobile purchasing functionality to simplify the ticket-buying process for fans. The Dynamo are the first MLS team to sign on with the Arizona-based company, joining numerous teams in the NFL, NBA and NHL.
The ReplyBuy program serves as a personal concierge for tickets. Fans who register will receive personalized notifications when Dynamo event tickets become available and be able to purchase tickets on-demand in a matter of seconds with a text message. The best seat locations will be available to fans who respond first to ReplyBuy notifications. Electronic tickets will be delivered to a buyer's phone instantly upon purchase and can be scanned at the stadium.
"ReplyBuy's mobile technology aligns with our fan base, which includes a core of millennials who increasingly are making purchasing decisions through their mobile devices," Dynamo VP/CMO Amber Cox said. "We are always looking for new ways to simplify the buying experience through new technology."
Fans can sign up for the service beginning today. Tickets will be available through ReplyBuy starting with the Dynamo's home game vs. the Portland Timbers this Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
"We're extremely excited to launch the program with the Houston Dynamo and believe there are broad applications across the league," said ReplyBuy CEO and Founder Josh Manley. "We're proud to support their innovation as an organization by making it faster and easier for their fans to instantly purchase great tickets. Our technology aligns with their fans who are looking for access, speed and simplicity."
Dynamo fans who sign up to receive ReplyBuy notifications between now and May 27 will receive a chance to win four tickets to see the Dynamo take on Manchester City at BBVA Compass Stadium on Thursday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. Other winners will receive field passes to watch warm-ups prior to the Manchester City game, autographed Dynamo items and more.
