Houston Dash Unveil La Estrella Kit for 2023 Season

Houston Dash introduced La Estrella kit, the new primary uniform the team will sport during the 2023 NWSL season earlier today.

La Estrella embodies the pursuit of excellence and innovation that fueled the exploration of the deepest parts of space. La Estrella features luminous orange tones in a digital pattern mimicking the limitless energy, speed, and intensity of a star. The vibrant kit is a tribute to the history of the Dash by displaying a broad spectrum of orange hues throughout the jersey.

Determined to honor the past, La Estrella is a source of energy to create a bright and ambitions future. The bright orange top is paired with black shorts featuring the La Estrella pattern running down the sides creating a beautiful contrast of colors.

For the fourth consecutive year, the chest of the jersey features The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. MD Anderson has been an integral part of the Houston community for more than 80 years and is known as one of the world's most respected centers focused on cancer patient care, research, education, and prevention.

Beginning this season, new partner Magellan Corporation's logo will be featured on the right sleeve of both the home and away jersey. Magellan Corporation, which was founded in 1985, is an international distributor of specialty steels and metallurgical products. It has a reputation as an exemplary corporate citizen, with a decades-long history of supporting charitable, civic and athletic organizations, with a particular emphasis on initiatives that promote gender equality.

Shell Energy will continue to power the Houston Dash for a second consecutive year. The La Estrella kit will feature the Shell Energy logo on the back of the jersey, joining last year's City of Fútbol kit. Shell Energy is committed to powering progress on and off the field for the Club.

Fans can pre-order their own La Estrella kit online at HoustonDash.com. Select sizes will be available at the Dash team store at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The store will be open Wednesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

La Estrella will debut on March 26 as the Dash open the 2023 NWSL regular season, powered by Shell Energy, at Shell Energy Stadium against Racing Louisville FC. Tickets for the match can be purchased here.
