Houston Dash News Release
The Houston Dash and goalkeeper Ella Dederick agreed to a two-year contract, the club announced today.
Houston acquired the rights to Dederick after sending its natural third round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft to OL Reign.
Dederick appeared in three matches for OL Reign during the 2021 regular season and earned her first start on June 5. The Camarillo, Calif. native played collegiately at Washington State University from 2014-2019, after redshirting and earning an extra year of eligibility due to injuries. The shot stopper finished with the most career wins, career minutes played, career games played for the Cougars and second all-time in career saves and career shutouts.
