
Houston Dash Sign Forward Kealia Ohai and Midfielder Amber Brooks to New Contracts

HOUSTON (Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015)-The Houston Dash have re-signed forward Kealia Ohai and signed midfielder Amber Brooks, the club announced today. Per team and league policy, terms of the deals were not released.
Ohai, 23, was named Team MVP and Players' Player of the Year for the 2015 season after scoring four goals in 19 games. Her five assists on the year were tied for second most in the NWSL. The second overall pick in the 2014 NWSL College Draft, Ohai has scored eight goals and tallied six assists in 42 games with the Dash.
Brooks signed with Houston after the Dash acquired her rights in October from Seattle Reign FC. The 24-year-old made 12 appearances and scored one goal for Reign FC during their 2015 NWSL Shield-winning campaign.
