Tonight's game will be broadcast live via YouTube at HoustonDashSoccer.com/live, and on delay tomorrow, May 3 at 5 p.m. on ROOT SPORTS. Game notes for the Dash are attached.

This is the first and only opportunity for Dash fans to watch Canadians Lauren Sesselmann and Allysha Chapman in Houston before the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Sesselmann, Chapman and goalkeeper Erin McLeod, who is held out of tonight's game due to injury, were officially named to the Canadian World Cup team earlier this week.

The Dash (1-1-1, 4 points) are currently in a three-team tie for third place in the NWSL standings. The team is coming off their first loss of the season, a 3-2 result against the Boston Breakers in Boston on Sunday. Jessica McDonald scored both goals for the Dash in a comeback effort, giving her three goals in the first three games of the season.

FC Kansas City (1-2-0, 3 points) recorded their first win of the year on April 23 in a rematch of the 2014 NWSL Championship against Seattle Reign FC, winning 1-0. The reigning league champions are led in this match by goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart, who led the league with eight shutouts in 2014, and midfielder Erika Tymrak, the 2013 NWSL Rookie of the Year.

With the absences of U.S. international players Morgan Brian, Meghan Klingenberg, Carli Lloyd and the injury to McLeod, the Dash have called up four players with the league's amateur call-up mechanism. Goalkeeper Jordan Day, defender Jen LaPonte, midfielder Cami Privett and forward Allie Bailey have been added to the 20-player roster and will be available for selection tonight.

After tonight's match, the Dash have a bye week before returning to BBVA Compass Stadium to face the Chicago Red Stars on May 15. Individual tickets for the match start at just $15 and are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com or by calling (713) 276-GOAL.
