
Houston Dash Announce Roster Update After 2018 NWSL Season

HOUSTON - The Houston Dash offered new contracts to four players and exercised options on 14 players following the 2018 NWSL season, the club announced today.
Additionally, U.S. Women's National Team goalkeeper Jane Campbell and Canadian defender Allysha Chapman and forward Nichelle Prince will remain on the Dash roster as allocated Federation players. An updated list of Federation players for the 2019 season will be announced at a later date.
The club also announced that it would not offer defender Janine Van Wyk a new player agreement and she will now enter the NWSL re-entry wire.
The status for the players on the 2018 active roster can be found below.
Option Exercised: Amber Brooks, Taylor Comeau, Rachel Daly, Haley Hanson, Bianca Henninger, Sofia Huerta, Kimberly Keever, Thembi Kgatlana, Veronica Latsko, Linda Motlhalo, Kealia Ohai, Clare Polkinghorne, Kyah Simon and Meleana Shim
Extended new contract offer: Lindsay Agnew, Savannah Jordan, Kristie Mewis and Sammy Jo Prudhomme
Placed on Re-Entry Wire: Janine Van Wyk
Federation Players: Jane Campbell, Allysha Chapman and Nichelle Prince
Including the three Federation players, there are currently 17 players under contract for the 2019 season.
