Houston Aeros Announce Clear Day Roster

HOUSTON - Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced the AHL club's 22-man Clear Day roster.

According to AHL by-laws only those listed on a team's Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remainder of the 2009-10 regular season and 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension.

The Aeros' Clear Day roster includes two goaltenders, 14 forwards and six defensemen.

Goaltenders: Anton Khudobin and Wade Dubielewicz

Forwards: Cody Almond, J-M Daoust, Jon DiSalvatore, Robbie Earl, Colton Gillies, Andy Hilbert, Danny Irmen, Petr Kalus, Matt Kassian, Carson McMillan, Duncan Milroy, Chad Rau, Nathan Smith and Peter Zingoni

Defensemen: Justin Falk, Jamie Fraser, Ryan Lannon, Maxim Noreau, Brandon Rogers and Jaime Sifers.

The Aeros have also listed C Tony Hrkac, D Ryan Gunderson and D J.P. Testwuide as "In Residence" making them eligible to play if a member of the 22-man roster is injured or recalled. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after their respective seasons are complete. The Clear Day rosters of all 29 AHL teams can be found at theahl.com.
