Soo Greyhounds News Release

Soo Greyhounds GM Kyle Dubas has announced that the club has reduced it's roster to twenty-nine players.

Veterans GREG JAMBROSICH, CODY MINTZ and ALEX MORGAN were released from the club on Tuesday morning.

"One of the most difficult parts of this job is informing players that they have been released. With each of these three young men, we wanted to make these moves prior to the final set of exhibition games to give them each an opportunity with other clubs to skate and potentially get into exhibition games. In addition, with the academic calendar just one week old we felt this move now preserves the entire semester both in secondary and post-secondary institutions of all three young men" stated Dubas.

As a result of the roster moves, the Hounds now have three (3) goalies, nine (9) defenseman and seventeen (17) remaining with the club.

The Hounds resume pre-season play this coming Friday, September 14th @ Sudbury (7:35 p.m.), before returning home on Saturday, September 15th to host the Saginaw Spirit (7:07 p.m.)

Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased at the Essar Centre Box Office Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
