Soo Greyhounds News Release
Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced today the team's second signing involving the Program's 2022 draft class.
Today, LANDON MILLER, whom was the team's 2nd Round Selection in this past April's OHL Priority Selection, has signed a standard player agreement including education package with the club.
"We are very excited to have Landon make his commitment to our program. Landon had an extremely successful year with the Vaughn Kings where he was tested nightly. He possesses great athletic ability which allows him to move calmly and efficiently around the crease" began Raftis.
"Combined with his work ethic, character and his mindset of how he sees the game we feel it provides a great base of what an elite goaltender should begin with. We look forward to Landon taking these next steps with the Greyhounds" he added.
Miller, a native of Barrie ON, played 2021-22 with the Vaughan Kings U16 AAA club.
Earlier this month Landon was among 40 OHL Prospects to take part in Canada's National U17 Development Camp in Calgary, AB.
"I'm honoured to have the privilege to sign with such a historic and accomplished organization. I am beyond excited to play in such a great city and in front of incredible fans" expressed Miller.
