PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC has agreed to release defender Robby Dambrot from his contract, the team announced today.

Dambrot, who signed as a free agent with the Hounds prior to the start of the 2022 season, was part of the team's opening-day starting lineup. He made five appearances (three starts) with the Hounds and scored in the team's 2-1 home-opening win March 19 against Hartford.

"We appreciate Robby's hard work and professionalism during his time with our team. We want to thank him and wish him the best of luck as he continues his career," Hounds head coach Bob Lilley said.

The Hounds' next match is this Saturday, when they visit Indy Eleven for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Indianapolis. The match can be seen locally on 22 The Point and streamed via ESPN+.
