Youngstown SteelHounds News Release

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown SteelHounds are facing a daunting task on Friday night when they host the Colorado Eagles in Game Four of their best-of-seven series and that task is to start a streak and win four straight games against arguably the Central Hockey League's best team. The Hounds announced today that the remainder of the home games in the series will be "White Outs" at the Chevrolet Centre.

Currently, the SteelHounds trail in the series three games to none and without a victory on Friday night the series and the season will be over for Youngstown.

"We want to create a great atmosphere in the arena on Friday night," said SteelHounds General Manager Joe Gregory. "The players need to pull every ounce of energy they have to accomplish this task and I know they feed off of our fans and this hopefully will help create that energy."

As a part of the "White Out", fans are encouraged to wear white and bring white towels or t-shirts and wave them throughout the night giving their team that extra push.

"The fans have been great all year," said SteelHounds Head Coach Kevin Kaminski. "We are going to need that extra skater on the ice with us Friday. You have to win the first game before you can win four in a row and I know that our team has the talent and ability to do that."

Should the SteelHounds win Game Four on Friday night, they will host the Eagles again on Saturday, April 7th in Game Five. The final two games of the series, if necessary, will be in Colorado on April 10th and 11th. Face-off for the games at the Chevrolet Centre on Friday and Saturday night (if necessary) is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
