
Hounds Bring Back Flora

Wheeling, WV- The 2002 & 2003 National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the resigning of Cornerback Joey Flora.
Flora, a 6��" 192lb. defensive back from IUP, came up big for Ohio Valley in last year's playoffs. Flora recorded four tackles in the Atlantic Conference Championship vs. Lake Charles. He followed up his Greyhounds debut with eight-and-a-half tackles and a crucial interception of Danny Ragsdale at Indoor Bowl III vs. Utah.
Joey recorded 195 tackles and 14 interceptions in his collegiate career with the IUP Indians. In 2001, Flora was selected as a Division II All-American by four different media outlets as well as being named the PSAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Flora joins former IUP teammates Tim Buffone and Mike Borisenko for the 2004 NIFL season.
