Tri-City Diesel News Release
Kearney, Nebraska-The Tri-City Diesel is ready and excited about their first home game of the 2004 season. The Diesel will square off against the Wyoming Calvary on Friday, March 26th at 7:30 pm at the Tri-City Arena.
This game could shape up to be a real barnburner with the Diesel Defense facing one of the better quarterbacks in the league, Matt Strand. Defensive Coordinator Mike Brown states, "this will be a tough early test for our young defensive unit. My hope is that we build on some of the positive things that we did last week and play solid overall team defense."
Although the Diesel is coming off a 58-42 victory over the Oklahoma Crude, they are still looking to improve. Head Coach Robert Fuller said, "Despite the fact that we played well, we know that we can play a heck of a lot better than we did in Enid. We are just looking to improve on some of the little things and continue to keep the turnover margin in our favor as well as increasing our scoring output."
Come cheer on the Tri-City Diesel as they try to improve their record to 2-0 on the season. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Tri-City Arena Box Office by calling 308-338-8011.
