Hounds Add Pair of Tigers

The Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the signing of two new players to the team's 2006 roster. The duo of new Greyhounds will join the team for practice this week and will see action this Saturday night when the Greyhounds host the Peoria Rough Riders at Wesbanco Arena.

Kyle Browning (5-7,175) --Kyle joins the Hounds after wrapping up a stellar career at Clemson. The shifty Browning was a spot starter at running back while with the Tigers and was a four-year letter-winner for head coach Tommy Bowden's squad. Browning had a career average of 5.7 yards per rush attempt. In 2003 the Union, SC native ran for 152 yards, in 2004 105 and in his senior season totaled 106 yards on the ground. Browning's most memorable moment at the South Carolina based school was his game-winning touchdown in the 2004 Peach Bowl to beat Tennessee. Browning will be called upon to add depth to the Greyhounds backfield.

David Dunham (6-2,225)--David joins Kyle Browning as the first two players from Clemson to join the Greyhounds. Dunham was a converted tailback that went on to make his presence felt as a starting outside linebacker for the Tigers, the native of Lake City, FL saw action in 47 consecutive games. Dunham, a four-year letter-winner at Clemson registered 27 tackles in 2005 including two tackles for loss. In 2004 Dunham had 28 stops as a top reserve for the Tigers. In 2003 Dunham was in on 25 tackles including two for loss. Dunham is projected as a strong safety and linebacker for the Greyhounds.
