Host a Ducks Player During 2020 Season
(Central Islip, N.Y.) -The Long Island Ducks are currently seeking host families for Ducks players and coaches during the 2020 season. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Gerry Anderson by calling (631) 940-3825 ext. 114 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. They may also fill out a Host Family Questionnaire.
Host families have the chance to develop lasting friendships with a member of the Ducks off the field while also getting to cheer them on throughout the season. Players and families have often remarked about the benefits of their experience and everlasting bonds that have been created.
Being a host family also comes with several benefits, including:
-VIP meet-and-great BBQ with Ducks players and coaches before the 2020 season
-On-field recognition during Fan Appreciation Day at Bethpage Ballpark (September 17)
-The opportunity to watch a Ducks game from a luxury suite (20 tickets included)
There are also only a few requirements to become a host family:
-A private bedroom for the player
-The use of a bathroom, laundry facilities and kitchen
Additional amenities that can be provided will be greatly appreciated by the player and Ducks organization.
The Ducks are also seeking available housing to rent for players during the 2020 season (April-September). Landlords with available properties should call (631) 940-3825 ext. 114 or email email@example.com.
The Long Island Ducks are members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Bethpage Ballpark. For further information, call (631) 940-DUCK or visit www.liducks.com.
