CORPUS CHRISTI - Your Corpus Christi Hooks are Texas League South Division first-half champions... so they've already qualified for postseason play come September!

But hey, it's late June... with plenty of regular-season fun and excitement remaining on the 2013 calendar. Our boys return to Whataburger Field for a six-game homestand after the TL all-star break.

Here's a look at what you'll find at 734 East Port Avenue next Wednesday through the following Monday:

Wednesday, June 26, Springfield Cardinals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-Whataburger Family Day, buy a ticket for yourself and get your kid's ticket free!

-Donate your gently-used Hooks clothing item to Goodwill near the main gates at the giant Whataburger fry box. In exchange, you'll get a new Hooks t-shirt, ticket voucher and special Whataburger coupon offer!

-Groups of 20+ call 361-561-HOOK (4665) for $10 reserved-seat tickets and Hooks caps for all members.

Thursday, June 27, Cardinals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-The first 2,500 fans take home a Hooks Camo Cap from IBC Bank.

-Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.

-After 8:30 a.m. on the 27th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/stripesstores to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.

-It's Military Appreciation Night, so active-duty servicemen and women and those who honorably served - and their family members - are eligible for discounted tickets. Call Andy Steavens at 361-561-4677 to learn more.

Saturday, June 29, Tulsa Drillers @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)

-The first 2,000 fans receive a Hooks Jersey Tote from Sanders Morris Harris.

-Grande Grand Prize Game postgame, proceeds benefit the American Heart Association; toss balls from the stands at $1 per try.

-It's the 20th anniversary of The Sandlot. Enjoy a postgame screening of the legendary family baseball movie.

-The first 2,500 fans pick up a Hooks Team Card Set.

-Cheniere presents Hooks Activity Books for all 1st-3rd graders; passed out upon exit.

-H-E-B Kids' Day; children run the bases postgame.
