Pensacola Pelicans News Release
The Pelicans love to play home this year as they have a 6-1 record at Pelican Park. The Pelicans are playing the El Paso Diablos in game two of a three game series tonight starting at 6:35 p.m.
Jeff Norris is on the mound for the Pelicans and will face off against Brad Esarey for the Diablos.
Tonight is TK 101 Two-for-Tuesday and fans can enjoy great deals on Pelicans chatter bats and/ or Pelicans foam fingers. So come on out and support your 2005 Pelicans.
Pelicans Reading Across America
Scoop and several players will be at Chumuckla Elementary School on Wednesday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. They are going to be reading to and visiting with the children as part of the national reading campaign "Read Across America."
Negro League Tribute
The Buck O'Neil traveling exhibit is now on display at the T.T. Wentworth Museum in downtown Pensacola. The museum is open Monday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. The exhibit is located on the second floor.
TKO Program
The TKO Program is a great way to have underprivaleged children attend a Pelicans game. Companies can sponsor a group of kids for the night. Each group will also receive a free hot dog, pepsi and snow cone! Call the Pelicans office for more information at 934-8444.
