
Holt Helps PawSox Take Down Red Wings

Brock Holt drilled an RBI double with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning to score Justin Henry from first base with the game winning run as the Pawtucket Red Sox edged the Rochester Red Wings, 4-3 on Friday afternoon.
LF Bo Greenwell smacked a solo HR in the bottom of the 7th inning to tie the game 3-3. The son of Mike Greenwell went 2-for-3 on the day.
Catcher Christian Vazquez plated Pawtucket's first two runs of the game with a 2-run double in the 4th inning.
Allen Webster started and pitched four scoreless innings before being touched for 3 runs in the 5th inning. Shunuske Watanabe was sharp tossing two scoreless innings. Noe Ramirez and winner Chris Resop both worked a scoreless inning and each had two strikeouts.
The PawSox (3-4-2) play Rochester again on Saturday but this time in Lee Country, FL.
