Holiday Shopping for Hawks Fans

Waterloo, Iowa-The traditional start to Christmas shopping season is the day after Thanksgiving, and the Waterloo Black Hawks are offering special savings that day for folks with hockey fans on their holiday lists.

No need to line up in the wee-hours out in the cold. Party Town Outfitters, the official souvenir store of the Black Hawks at Young Arena, will open its doors at 10AM on November 26th, with selected special sale items - while supplies last - and brand new merchandise available for the very first time, until 2PM.

"It's exciting for us to know that something from the Black Hawks will make someone's day on Christmas morning," said Black Hawks Vice President of Business Operations Shawna Rowe, "We look forward to seeing fans at the rink the day after Thanksgiving, just not at 5AM."

Besides great deals on Black Hawks apparel and memorabilia, shoppers will have the opportunity to pick up a special collectable. With all orders of $100 or more during special Black Friday hours, shoppers will receive a 2010-2011 player trading card poster autographed by the entire team. A great gift by itself, the poster has the iwireless player card for each Black Hawk. The set is being passed out in increments during each Friday home game of the season, but the uncut sheet of player cards, ideal for framing, presents the chance to get an early look at all of the cards together.

If you can't make it to the Arena next Friday, visit Milroy's Tuxedos in Crossroads Shopping Center. Throughout the holiday season, Milroy's will be offering a limited selection of Black Hawks gear at their convenient location on the lower level inside the southwest entrance at the mall.
