Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers will play host to the Des Moines Buccaneers for a pair of games this weekend at the Resch Center.
Friday night is the 2nd annual A Pair and A Spare hockey game. Fans are encouraged to bring a pair of socks or underwear to the game. Fans who bring an item for the A Pair and A Spare collection will be eligible to win a Gamblers signed goalie stick and a luxury suite to a future game.
All socks and underwear collected will be donated to A Pair and a A Spare - A charity that provides threse items to people in need.
After the game Austin Czarnik, Robert Francis and Aaron Harstad, all of whom were members of the United States Junior Select Team that won a gold medal at the World Junior "A" Challenge this past week in British Columbia will be signing autographs.
Saturday night is a Festival Foods Family Night as well as High School Night Presented by Rasmussen College. As part of High School night, high school school aged students can get a $12.00 ticket for $7.00 when they show their school I.D. at the Resch box office. Their Gamblers game ticket will also get them free admission into the high school dance at the Club at Tom, Dick & Harry's immediately following the game.
The Family Night portion of the evening, means $1.00 hot dogs, $1.00 soda, Skate with the Gamblers after the game and a discount for children 14 years and younger.
