Hogs Look for 10 Straight against Admirals Tonight

Rockford, Ill. - A season ago, the Rockford IceHogs had the Milwaukee Admirals' number, winning the last nine matchups between the two squads. The IceHogs look to continue the streak as they host the Admirals for the first of 12 meetings on the 2012-13 campaign. The puck hits the ice at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7:05 p.m.

In honor of Veteran's Day and the men and women who serve our country, all active and retired military personnel can pick up a free ticket for tonight's game by showing a valid Military ID. Service personnel can purchase additional tickets for just $10 for family and friends. Rockford finished with a 10-1-0-1 record against Milwaukee in 2011-12 and the club holds an all-time advantage of 23-15-1-3.

Center Brandon Pirri saw his six game point streak come to an end in Rockford's 5-3 loss to Grand Rapids last night. Pirri had totaled five goals and four assists during his six game point scoring binge, dating back to Oct. 21. The third-year pro lead the IceHogs in scoring against Milwaukee last season (5g-7a), and leads the club overall in 2012-13 with 10 points (5g-5a) in 11 contests.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 14 vs. Peoria Rivermen. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m."ˆin the Illinois Lottery Cup matchup. It's a Dollar Day at the BMO Harris Bank Center as fans can take advantage of one dollar beers, hot dogs, sodas, or companion tickets.
