Idaho Stampede News Release
BOISE, Idaho (February 9, 2006) - The Idaho Stampede is inviting Steelhead fans to join them this Sunday for its game against the Michigan Mayhem at Qwest Arena. Fans can exchange their used Steelhead hockey ticket stubs from their current homestand and receive a free ticket to the Stampede's Sunday night game.
"Qwest Arena will work its magic to host hockey and hoop in the same weekend, so we are giving hard core sports fans a chance to check out both sports," said Stampede President and General Manager, John Brunelle. "The Stampede is the new team downtown and we are eager to introduce interested hockey fans to the CBA."
Game time is 7:10 PM at Qwest Arena. Steelhead fans may exchange their ticket stubs from Wednesday, Friday and/or Saturday night's Steelhead game for a free general admission ticket to the Stampede's Sunday night game. Tickets can be exchanged at Will Call on Sunday starting at 5:00 PM.
The Idaho Stampede are currently tied for second place in the Western Conference with 13 games remaining. The top three teams in the conference will qualify for the CBA playoffs.
