Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release


To all our hockey community,

Recently, a young hockey player by the name of Dominic Switzer was on the Eastside of the state playing in a AAA showcase in Detroit, MI for Muskegon Select. One night, during the tournament, his father, Adam, passed away at the hotel...a very sad weekend.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks and the Junior Jacks youth hockey organization are teaming to raise money for Dominic's future. We want to be sure he has the ability to continue the sport he loves. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to pay for equipment, ice time and travel for the next several years. Please join us in contributing to this cause by bidding on one of these awesome jerseys or exclusive Lumberjacks experiences.

9. Guest radio commentator at a Jacks game- Sit alongside Jacks' broadcaster Scott Bradford at a 20-21 home game!

10. Four Jacks Club seats to a Lumberjacks game with all-inclusive premium dinner entree, beer, wine and soda. It's a night to remember!

11. Timber, our beloved puppy dog mascot, will come to your office or home for a special event, pose for pictures and give out prizes from the Lumberjacks.

12. Skate out onto the ice for the National Anthem with your favorite Lumberjacks player during the 20-21 season for two youngsters.

We are committed to helping this young man, who tragically lost his father. We want to make sure his hockey fund can pay for ice time, equipment and his love of hockey for years to come. We hope you will consider joining us in this endeavor.
