The Elmira Pioneers and Texas Roadhouse are pleased to announced the "Hit This Sign Win a Dinner" contest at Pioneers games this summer. "At every game, the first time a player from either team hits a ball against the Texas Roadhouse outfield fence sign, one lucky fan wins a gift certificate at Texas Roadhouse" exclaimed GM Jeff Kunion.
Texas Roadhouse is also sponsoring a "bag of peanuts gets you a free appetiser" on field contest every game for the remainder of the Pioneers 2011 season. "Each game we will offer the winner of our dizzy bat race or hot dog eating contest a bag of delicious Texas Roadhouse peanuts that comes with a coupon for a free appetizer at their restaurant." continued Kunion
Texas Roadhouse is the exclusive caterer for all picnics at Dunn Field. "They have done a great job creating a special evening for our picnic groups.", added Asst GM/Sales & Marketing Pat Nickerson.
The Pioneers are back at Dunn Field on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 versus the Watertown Wizards. Both nights "Lucky Fan" giveaways include an HD TV, a DVD player, a digital camcorder, and more. On Friday the first 500 fans receive a free squirt bottle courtesy of Coca Cola. On Saturday enjoy the pregame Party in the Park Concert with Papa and Mama Root.
