
Historic Central Library Goes Red, White and Blue in Support of Amerks

(Rochester, NY)... The Central Library of Rochester, located in the historic Rundel Memorial Building in downtown Rochester, will light up in red, white and blue this week in support of the Rochester Americans during the Amerks home playoff games.
The Amerks will host Game 3 of their best-of-five first round Calder Cup Playoff series versus the Toronto Marlies at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at The Blue Cross Arena. Game 4, if necessary, will be played on Thursday, May 2 at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m.
The Central Library, which is located just across the Genesee River from The Blue Cross Arena, recently installed exterior LED lights that illuminate the building and its columns at night.
"The Central Library is proud to show our support for the Amerks during their quest for another Calder Cup championship by illuminating the Rundel Memorial Building in the Amerks' team colors," said Library Director Patricia Uttaro.
