Hill City Howlers News Release
Tonight's game between Lynchburg and Winston-Salem has postponed due to unplayable field conditions and the inclement weather still in the Lynchburg area. The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow night starting at 6:05 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
Lynchburg and Winston-Salem's series opener was completed early because of rain last night. The Hillcats won 5-0 in seven and two-thirds innings of baseball. Tuesday, the rain started early, soaking the field and leaving it unplayable for tonight's game two. There is also the threat of more weather in the area.
The Hillcats will throw out Justin Walker (3-1, 6.75) in game one, and Pedro Villarreal (0-1, 4.15) for game two.
