
Hill Nabs Atlantic Conference Weekly Honors

Tupelo FireAnts DB Bobby Hill was named the National Indoor Football League Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts versus the Winston-Salem Energy this past Saturday.
In last week's contest, Hill had three tackles and two interceptions on the night for 36 yards.
Hill, a second year player with the FireAnts hailing from Chicago, IL, is a graduate of Lakeland College.
Other weekly award winners in the Atlantic Conference included Offensive Player of the Week-RB Brandon Walker of the Tennessee Thundercats. Walker rushed for 151 yards and had 5 TD's. The Special Teams honoree was Winston-Salem Energy K/WR Derrick Moore. Moore returned four kicks for 50 yards. He also kicked the game winning field goal with 0:01 to go in the fourth quarter for the Energy.
