
Five FireAnts Named NIFL Atlantic East All-Stars

Five members of the 2002 Tupelo FireAnts team have been named NIFL Atlantic Conference Eastern Division All Stars. The Atlantic East division is comprised of the Mississippi Fire Dogs, Louisiana Rangers and Tupelo FireAnts.
The honorees included 'Ants Quarterback Damon Smith, Wide Receiver Kevin Cooper, Running Back Chris Rainey, Safety Kenzaki Jones, and Safety/Linebacker Eric Bingham.
"We have strong talent at several of our skilled positions, as it was evident with the naming of five 'Ants to the Eastern Division All Star lineup," Head Coach John Gore said. "We are really proud of the entire team, especially players that made key contributions throughout the season across the board."
