HUNTSVILLE, AL - For all the Tennessee Valley Viper fans that can't make the trip to Birmingham on Saturday night, you can still see the game live on the internet brought to you by EyeCentric.
EyeCentric Media, a Huntsville-based company, is offering online pay-per-view service for the Vipers' Saturday night game against the Birmingham Steeldogs. Subscribers will pay $7.95 to get the video webcast. The webcast will include the audio play-by-play of WUMP Radio's Doug Franz, the voice of the Vipers. The webcast will begin at 7:00 and kickoff is set for 7:30.
Fans interested in subscribing to the webcast can do so through the EyeCentric site at www.eyecentric.com or by linking from the Vipers website at www.vipersaf2.com.
EyeCentric Media highly recommends that game subscribers have a broadband internet connection. The video streams are offered in the Real Media format and are originated at 256K, 150K, 80K and 54K.
While single channel ISDN will receive a minimal video stream, a connection of at least 128K or better will provide for optimal viewing. In simple terms, the faster your internet connection is, the better your webcast will be.
Each user will be required to register to purchase the game. EyeCentric has a strict privacy policy and does not sell the names of its subscribers. The game will be billed via MasterCard or Visa. In addition to an electronic gameday guide and live audio and video of the game, subscribers also will receive one free month of access to all replays of af2 events featured on the EyeCentric network.
